Additional information from the organizers of the EBA-ESA Convention 2026 Banská Bystrica
Enclosed you will find a map of the exhibition grounds for the EBA-ESA Convention 2026 – Gardeniada.
Information regarding the delivery time for exhibits: The organizers will accept exhibits on Thursday, April 9th, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Later deliveries must be arranged with the organizers. Photos of the bonsai will also be taken on the same day.
Information regarding tickets:
- The Gardeniada Festival runs from Thursday, April 9th to Sunday, April 12th and the EBA-ESA Convention from Friday, April 10th to Sunday, April 12th .
- Special 4-day tickets will be available for bonsai visitors- regular and limited VIP .
The organisers strongly recommend buying asap! (further information on the website)
- For visitors coming for just one day, a one-day ticket will be available for €11.00 at the Front-Gate for the day of the visit.
Each EBA bonsai exhibitor, NTC participant and EBA board member gets one free 4 day regular entry-ticket. Those wishing to upgrade to a VIP ticket must pay €25.00 and notify the organizers (sending email to gardeniadabb@gmail.com). They will process the upgrade – you will be asked to provide your IBAN for payment, and in return you will receive your VIP ticket.
Saturday, EBA Gala dinner tickets (€65.00 per person) for everyone (ordered via website, NTC participants and EBA Board Members) can be picked up at the SBA Information Desk near the National SBA Exhibition Outdoor Hall. https://form.jotform.com/253145025173045
NTC participants and EBA board have free entry but need to pick up tickets as well.
Friday, SBA Gala program in Slovak language is also available for international guests. Tickets can be purchased by sending inquiry at prezidium@bonsai-sba.sk (€30.00 per person).

Dear All,
As we wrote in our last “Letter to the Members” at the beginning of December, the EBA Convention 2026 will take place in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) in April 2026 (10-12 April 2026). Once again we have attached all the documents what we had received so far from Lukáš Jančina (President of the Slovak Bonsai Association SBA).

Further information by the SBA (program, timetable for the meetings, demonstrations and the NTC-New Talent Contest) is expected soon.

Personnel changes among the members:
France: Philippe Massard has resigned from his position as President of FFB. Jean-Marie COUDERC is the new President of the French Federation of Bonsai and EBA Delegate.
The EBA Board thanks Philippe Massard for his engagement and wishes him much success in his future activities and Jean-Marie Couderc all the best in his responsible work as president of FFB and EBA Delegate.
